1. How to bypass your router to test your Internet speed a. Unplug the cable from the Internet port on your router and plug it directly into your laptop or desktop computer. b. Check your Internet connection. If there is no red "X" on your connection icon, you should have Internet. c. In your web browser go to the following websites and test your speed: - speedtest.googlefiber.net - www.speedtest.net - www.speakeasy.net Note: Speed tests vary by site and it's best to get an average over multiple tests.
